DRAFT. Last updated 2 November 2026.
The list on each country page is our own selection of 100 well-known devices, chosen by hand from current, widely sold product lines. It is not ranked by sales: the order on the page carries no meaning, and no rank numbers are shown. It is not based on sales data, and some devices may have been replaced by newer models.
Nobody publishes unit sales for every device, so when we add a ranking it will be an estimate, built from public signals per country:
We will publish the weights, show the signals behind each position, and say when the ranking was last updated. Rankings will be per country because what sells in one country does not sell in another. Until then, nothing on this site is described as a ranking.
Some links are affiliate links (today, links to Amazon in the United States): if you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Commission does not decide which devices are listed or, later, how they are ranked. Devices with no affiliate programme will still be shown, and their links marked.
