What this website collects

This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, analytics or advertising trackers. It has no forms.
If you pick a country, or switch the calm view on or off, that choice is stored only in your own browser (localStorage). We never receive it.
When you open the home page, Cloudflare looks up the country of your IP address so we can send you to the matching country page (United States, United Kingdom or Europe; the United States if unsure). We use that country only for the redirect and do not store it.
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and technical request details (the page asked for, the time, your browser type) to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. This is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

If we add page statistics or a deal-alert email list later, this page will say so first, with what is collected, why and for how long. Any tracking that needs consent will ask for it.

Cloudflare, transfers and logs

Cloudflare, Inc. is a company in the United States, so your request details may be processed outside the European Economic Area, in whichever Cloudflare data centre serves you. Cloudflare relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement to protect that data. We have not set up anything to restrict where Cloudflare processes it.

We do not keep our own logs of who visits this site. Cloudflare keeps technical logs for the periods in its own privacy policy and data processing agreement, which we do not control. We have no tools on this site that identify individual visitors.

If you are in Singapore

We handle personal data about people in Singapore in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). We collect it only for the purposes described on this page. You may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to stop using it, by writing to [email protected]. Your data may be processed in Slovakia, the United States or other countries where Cloudflare operates, and we rely on the protections described above.

Links to shops

When you click a link to a shop (for example Amazon) you leave this site. That shop's own privacy policy applies, and it may set its own cookies. We do not see what you do there; the shop tells us only that a purchase came from our link.
